DESCRIPTION:Isaiah 6:1-10\n\n\n1  It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was\n\n\nsitting on a lofty throne\, and the train of his robe filled the\n\n\nTemple.  2  Attending him were mighty seraphim\, each having six\n\n\nwings. With two wings they covered their faces\, with two they\n\n\ncovered their feet\, and with two they flew.  3  They were calling out\n\n\nto each other\,\n\n\n“Holy\, holy\, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies!\n\n\n    The whole earth is filled with his glory!”\n\n\n4  Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations\, and the entire\n\n\nbuilding was filled with smoke.\n\n\n5  Then I said\, “It’s all over! I am doomed\, for I am a sinful man. I\n\n\nhave filthy lips\, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I\n\n\nhave seen the King\, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”\n\n\n6  Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had\n\n\ntaken from the altar with a pair of tongs.  7  He touched my lips with\n\n\nit and said\, “See\, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is\n\n\nremoved\, and your sins are forgiven.”\n\n\n8  Then I heard the Lord asking\, “Whom should I send as a\n\n\nmessenger to this people? Who will go for us?”\n\n\nI said\, “Here I am. Send me.”\n\n\n9  And he said\, “Yes\, go\, and say to this people\,\n\n\n‘Listen carefully\, but do not understand.\n\n\n    Watch closely\, but learn nothing.’\n\n\n10  Harden the hearts of these people.\n\n\n    Plug their ears and shut their eyes.\n\n\nThat way\, they will not see with their eyes\,\n\n\n    nor hear with their ears\,\n\n\nnor understand with their hearts\n\n\n    and turn to me for healing.”\n\n\n \n\n\nColossians 3:1-4\n\n\n1  Since you have been raised to new life with Christ\, set your\n\n\nsights on the realities of heaven\, where Christ sits in the place of\n\n\nhonor at God’s right hand.  2  Think about the things of heaven\, not\n\n\nthe things of earth.  3  For you died to this life\, and your real life is\n\n\nhidden with Christ in God.  4  And when Christ\, who is your life\, is\n\n\nrevealed to the whole world\, you will share in all his glory.
