SUMMARY:Sunday Worship
DESCRIPTION:Joel 2:21-27\n\n\n21   Don’t be afraid\, O land.\n\n\nBe glad now and rejoice\,\n\n\n    for the Lord has done great things.\n\n\n22  Don’t be afraid\, you animals of the field\,\n\n\n    for the wilderness pastures will soon be green.\n\n\nThe trees will again be filled with fruit;\n\n\n    fig trees and grapevines will be loaded down once more.\n\n\n23  Rejoice\, you people of Jerusalem!\n\n\n    Rejoice in the Lord your God!\n\n\nFor the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness.\n\n\n    Once more the autumn rains will come\,\n\n\n    as well as the rains of spring.\n\n\n24  The threshing floors will again be piled high with grain\,\n\n\n    and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil.\n\n\n25  The Lord says\, “I will give you back what you lost\n\n\n    to the swarming locusts\, the hopping locusts\,\n\n\nthe stripping locusts\, and the cutting locusts.\n\n\n    It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.\n\n\n26  Once again you will have all the food you want\,\n\n\n    and you will praise the Lord your God\,\n\n\nwho does these miracles for you.\n\n\n    Never again will my people be disgraced.\n\n\n27  Then you will know that I am among my people Israel\,\n\n\n    that I am the Lord your God\, and there is no other.\n\n\n    Never again will my people be disgraced.\n\n\n \n\n\nEzekiel 37:1-14\n\n\n1  The Lord took hold of me\, and I was carried away by the Spirit of\n\n\nthe Lord to a valley filled with bones.  2  He led me all around\n\n\namong the bones that covered the valley floor. They were\n\n\nscattered everywhere across the ground and were completely\n\n\ndried out.  3  Then he asked me\, “Son of man\, can these bones\n\n\nbecome living people again?”\n\n\n“O Sovereign Lord\,” I replied\, “you alone know the answer to\n\n\nthat.”\n\n\n4  Then he said to me\, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones\n\n\nand say\, ‘Dry bones\, listen to the word of the Lord!  5  This is what\n\n\nthe Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you\n\n\nand make you live again!  6  I will put flesh and muscles on you and\n\n\ncover you with skin. I will put breath into you\, and you will come to\n\n\nlife. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”\n\n\n7  So I spoke this message\, just as he told me. Suddenly as I\n\n\nspoke\, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones\n\n\nof each body came together and attached themselves as\n\n\ncomplete skeletons.  8  Then as I watched\, muscles and flesh\n\n\nformed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies\,\n\n\nbut they still had no breath in them.\n\n\n9  Then he said to me\, “Speak a prophetic message to the winds\,\n\n\nson of man. Speak a prophetic message and say\, ‘This is what\n\n\nthe Sovereign Lord says: Come\, O breath\, from the four winds!\n\n\nBreathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.’”\n\n\n10  So I spoke the message as he commanded me\, and breath\n\n\ncame into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their\n\n\nfeet—a great army.\n\n\n11  Then he said to me\, “Son of man\, these bones represent the\n\n\npeople of Israel. They are saying\, ‘We have become old\, dry\n\n\nbones—all hope is gone. Our nation is finished.’  12  Therefore\,\n\n\nprophesy to them and say\, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:\n\n\nO my people\, I will open your graves of exile and cause you to\n\n\nrise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel.  13  When\n\n\nthis happens\, O my people\, you will know that I am the Lord.  14  I\n\n\nwill put my Spirit in you\, and you will live again and return home to\n\n\nyour own land. Then you will know that I\, the Lord\, have spoken\,\n\n\nand I have done what I said. Yes\, the Lord has spoken!’”\n\n\n \n\n\n1 Peter 1:3-9\n\n\n3  All praise to God\, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his\n\n\ngreat mercy that we have been born again\, because God raised\n\n\nJesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great\n\n\nexpectation\,  4  and we have a priceless inheritance—an\n\n\ninheritance that is kept in heaven for you\, pure and undefiled\,\n\n\nbeyond the reach of change and decay.  5  And through your faith\,\n\n\nGod is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation\,\n\n\nwhich is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.\n\n\n6  So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead\, even though you\n\n\nmust endure many trials for a little while.  7  These trials will show\n\n\nthat your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and\n\n\npurifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere\n\n\ngold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials\, it will\n\n\nbring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when\n\n\nJesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.\n\n\n8  You love him even though you have never seen him. Though\n\n\nyou do not see him now\, you trust him; and you rejoice with a\n\n\nglorious\, inexpressible joy.  9  The reward for trusting him will be the\n\n\nsalvation of your souls.\n\n\n \n\n\nRevelation 19:1-8\n\n\n1  After this\, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven\n\n\nshouting\,\n\n\n“Praise the Lord!\n\n\n    Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.\n\n\n2  His judgments are true and just.\n\n\n    He has punished the great prostitute\n\n\nwho corrupted the earth with her immorality.\n\n\n    He has avenged the murder of his servants.”\n\n\n3  And again their voices rang out:\n\n\n“Praise the Lord!\n\n\n    The smoke from that city ascends forever and ever!”\n\n\n4  Then the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down\n\n\nand worshiped God\, who was sitting on the throne. They cried\n\n\nout\, “Amen! Praise the Lord!”\n\n\n5  And from the throne came a voice that said\,\n\n\n“Praise our God\,\n\n\n    all his servants\,\n\n\nall who fear him\,\n\n\n    from the least to the greatest.”\n\n\n6  Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd\n\n\nor the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder:\n\n\n“Praise the Lord!\n\n\n    For the Lord our God\, the Almighty\, reigns.\n\n\n7  Let us be glad and rejoice\,\n\n\n    and let us give honor to him.\n\n\nFor the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb\,\n\n\n    and his bride has prepared herself.\n\n\n8  She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.”\n\n\n    For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy\n\n\npeople.
