Matthew 28:19-20
19  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizingthem in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  20  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Acts 8:26-40
26  As for Philip, an angel of the Lord said to him, “Go south down the desert road that runs from Jerusalem to Gaza.”  27  So he started out, and he met the treasurer of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under the Kandake, the queen of Ethiopia. The eunuch had gone to Jerusalem to worship,  28  and he was now returning. Seated in his carriage, he was reading aloud from the book of the prophet Isaiah.
29  The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.”
30  Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31  The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.
32  The passage of Scripture he had been reading was this:
“He was led like a sheep to the slaughter.
And as a lamb is silent before the shearers,
he did not open his mouth.
33  He was humiliated and received no justice.
Who can speak of his descendants?
For his life was taken from the earth.”
34  The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, was the prophet talking about himself or someone else?”  35  So beginning with this same Scripture, Philip told him the Good News about Jesus. 36  As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?”  38  He
ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water,
and Philip baptized him. 39  When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away. The eunuch never saw him again but went on his way rejoicing.  40  Meanwhile, Philip found himself farther north at the town of Azotus. He preached the Good News there and in every town along the way until he came to Caesarea.

Romans 8:14
14  For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

1 Peter 3:13-17
13  Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?  14  But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.  15  Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.  16  But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live
because you belong to Christ.  17  Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!
Matthew 28:19B-20
19B  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  20  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Romans 6:3-4
3  Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?  4  For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

1 Peter 2:2
2  Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,

Matthew 28:20A
20  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.

2 Timothy 4:3-4
3  For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.  4  They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
Matthew 28:20B
And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Matthew 26:26-29
26  As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take this and eat it, for this is my body.” 27  And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it,  28  for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.  29  Mark my words—I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”
Matthew 28:19A
19A  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations

Scripture Acts 1:8
8  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.
And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me
everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to
the ends of the earth.”

Romans 3:10-12
10  As the Scriptures say,
“No one is righteous—
    not even one.
11  No one is truly wise;
    no one is seeking God.
12  All have turned away;
    all have become useless.
No one does good,
    not a single one.”
Matthew 28:18
18  Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.

Matthew 26:36-56
36  Then Jesus went with them to the olive grove called Gethsemane, and he said, “Sit here while I go over there to pray.”  37  He took Peter and Zebedee’s two sons, James and John, and he became anguished and distressed.
38  He told them, “My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and
keep watch with me.” 39  He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”
40  Then he returned to the disciples and found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour?  41  Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”
42  Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed, “My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done.”  43  When he returned to them again, he found them sleeping, for they couldn’t keep their eyes open.
44  So he went to pray a third time, saying the same things again.  45  Then he came to the disciples and said, “Go ahead and sleep. Have your rest. But look—the time has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.  46  Up, let’s be going. Look, my betrayer is here!”

47  And even as Jesus said this, Judas, one of the twelve disciples, arrived with a crowd of men armed with swords and clubs. They had been sent by the leading priests and elders of the people.  48  The traitor, Judas, had given them a prearranged signal: “You will know which one to arrest when I greet him with a kiss.”  49  So Judas came straight to Jesus. “Greetings, Rabbi!” he exclaimed and gave him the kiss.
50  Jesus said, “My friend, go ahead and do what you have come for.” Then the others grabbed Jesus and arrested him.  51  But one of the men with Jesus pulled out his sword and struck the high priest’s slave, slashing off his ear.
52  “Put away your sword,” Jesus told him. “Those who use the sword will die by the sword.  53  Don’t you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and he would send them instantly?  54  But if I did, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that describe what must happen now?”
55  Then Jesus said to the crowd, “Am I some dangerous revolutionary, that you come with swords and clubs to arrest me? Why didn’t you arrest me in the Temple? I was there teaching every day.  56  But this is all happening to fulfill the words of the prophets as recorded in the Scriptures.” At that point, all the disciples deserted him and fled.

Psalm 103:10-12
10  He does not punish us for all our sins;
he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.

12  He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.

16  Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountainwhere Jesus had told them to go.  17  When they saw him, theyworshiped him—but some of them doubted!

John 10:27
27  My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Colossians 1:15-18
15  Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over
all creation,
16  for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen
world.
Everything was created through him and for him.
17  He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together.
18  Christ is also the head of the church,
    which is his body.
He is the beginning,
supreme over all who rise from the dead.
So he is first in everything.
Acts 2:1-21
On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. 2 Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. 3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. 4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.
5 At that time there were devout Jews from every nation living in Jerusalem. 6 When they heard the loud noise, everyone came running, and they were bewildered to hear their own languages being spoken by the believers.
7 They were completely amazed. “How can this be?” they exclaimed. “These people are all from Galilee, 8 and yet we hear them speaking in our own native languages! 9 Here we are—Parthians, Medes, Elamites, people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, the province of Asia, 10 Phrygia,
Pamphylia, Egypt, and the areas of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism), Cretans, and Arabs. And we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!” 12 They stood there amazed and perplexed. “What can this mean?” they asked each other.
13 But others in the crowd ridiculed them, saying, “They’re just drunk, that’s all!”
14 Then Peter stepped forward with the eleven other apostles and shouted to the crowd, “Listen carefully, all of you, fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem! Make no mistake about this. 15 These people are not drunk, as some of you are assuming. Nine o’clock in the morning is much too early for that. 16 No, what you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘In the last days,’ God says,
‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy.
Your young men will see visions,
and your old men will dream dreams.
18 In those days I will pour out my Spirit
even on my servants—men and women alike—
and they will prophesy.
19 And I will cause wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below—
blood and fire and clouds of smoke.
20 The sun will become dark,
and the moon will turn blood red
before that great and glorious day of the Lord arrives.
21 But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord
will be saved.’
Numbers 9 15-23
On the day the Tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered it. But from evening until morning the cloud over the Tabernacle looked like a pillar of fire.  16  This was the regular pattern—at night the cloud that covered the Tabernacle had the appearance of fire.  17  Whenever the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the people of Israel would break camp and follow it. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel would set up camp.  18  In this way, they traveled and camped at the Lord’s command wherever he told them to go. Then they remained in their camp as long as the cloud stayed over the Tabernacle.  19  If the cloud remained over the Tabernacle for a long time, the Israelites stayed and performed their duty to the Lord.  20  Sometimes the cloud would stay over the Tabernacle for only a few days, so the people would stay for only a few days, as the Lord commanded. Then at the Lord’s command they would break camp and move on.  21  Sometimes the cloud stayed only overnight and lifted the next morning. But day or night, when the cloud lifted, the people broke camp and moved on.  22  Whether the cloud stayed above the Tabernacle for two days, a month, or a year, the people of Israel
stayed in camp and did not move on. But as soon as it lifted, they broke camp and moved on.  23  So they camped or traveled at the Lord’s command, and they did whatever the Lord told them through Moses.

Deuteronomy 8:2-3
2  Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands.  3  Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord,

17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” 18 So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea.[a] The Israelites went up out of Egypt ready for battle.

19 Moses took the bones of Joseph with him because Joseph had made the Israelites swear an oath. He had said, “God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up with you from this place.”[

20 After leaving Sukkoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert. 21 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.

16 The whole Israelite community set out from Elim and came to the Desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had come out of Egypt. In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by the Lord’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.”

Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. On the sixth day they are to prepare what they bring in, and that is to be twice as much as they gather on the other days.”

So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, “In the evening you will know that it was the Lord who brought you out of Egypt, and in the morning you will see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?” Moses also said, “You will know that it was the Lord when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the Lord.”

Then Moses told Aaron, “Say to the entire Israelite community, ‘Come before the Lord, for he has heard your grumbling.’”

10 While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the Lord appearing in the cloud.

11 The Lord said to Moses, 12 “I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, ‘At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.’”

13 That evening quail came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp. 14 When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor. 15 When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was.

Moses said to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat.

14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

Luke 24:35-43

35 Then the two from Emmaus told their story of how Jesus had appeared to them as they were walking along the road, and how they had recognized him as he was breaking the bread. 36 And just as they were telling about it, Jesus himself was suddenly standing there among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. 37 But the whole group was startled and frightened, thinking they were seeing a ghost!

38 “Why are you frightened?” he asked. “Why are your hearts filled with doubt? 39 Look at my hands. Look at my feet. You can see that it’s really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don’t have bodies, as you see that I do.” 40 As he spoke, he showed them his hands and his feet.

41 Still they stood there in disbelief, filled with joy and wonder. Then he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he ate it as they watched.

Matthew 21:1-11
Acts 2:42-47

Palm Sunday is not just about waving branches and celebrating Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem – it’s about choosing what kind of community we will be. The crowds welcomed Him as King, but within days that same city would call for His crucifixion. Chrisitian community is meant to be rooted in love, accountability, and shared life, reflecting the heart of Christ who entered Jerusalem to give everything for His people.
