First Christian Church United
First Christian Church United is a vibrant and welcoming faith community within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Rooted in love and compassion, we are a congregation that seeks to meet people where they are on their journey with Jesus, offering support, care, and acceptance.
Our church is dedicated to walking alongside those facing life’s challenges. We are actively building a care ministry to support individuals navigating difficult seasons, including young mothers, those experiencing grief, divorce, or other transitions. With many in our congregation in recovery, we understand the importance of grace and healing. We are also excited to expand our ministry to serve those who have experienced trauma, offering hope and restoration.
Formed through the merging of First Christian Church, Lewisville, and First Christian Church, Carrollton, we are united in our mission to serve Denton County. Our commitment is to love and care for others, providing a safe space where all are welcome, just as they are. If you are seeking a community of faith that embraces you with open hearts and open arms, we invite you to join us in worship, fellowship, and service.
Won’t you come join us?
